Tradere publishing house was founded by the family of Marius and Monika Parčiauskai back in 2020. The Latin word “trādere” means “to pass on”. It perfectly captures our main goal: passing on the spiritual and social riches of Catholic civilization. These are the things that were passed to us as a grace and as a gift. We cannot let them vanish.  We must keep them alive.  Like a burning fire.  Not like ashes that have lost their fieriness long ago.

“For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance” (1 Cor 15, 3). This is how the Apostle to the Nations summarized his mission. As time unfolds, this act of passing on, of surrendering, of giving that which has been given, perpetually brings forth all the coherent riches of Catholic culture: literature, art, music, architecture, social ethics, etc.

Our publishing work aims to be a part of this beautiful process of passing on which continues in contemporary times. We intend to create meaningful discussions about the current state of society and faith.  We hope to encourage everyone to embrace the foundational principles of Catholic civilization.  By God’s grace alone, those principles may be applied in every sphere of society.

Tradere books are mostly published in Lithuanian. However, in 2022 we published our first book in English. God willing, our publishing work will continue to expand. Our Lithuanian website can be found here.

Tradere is a small family business.  The majority of our publishing work is done by its founders. We try to make everything as precise as possible, with fervent care for every detail.
